Unfortunately, the pool did not pass inspection today due to a couple of items that need to be corrected before we can officially open.
The inspector noted that the pool’s pH balance was not quite where it needed to be, and the gate leading from the pavilion to the pool deck was not closing quickly enough. We already have a replacement gate ordered, and it is scheduled to be installed next week. Pool Smart is also working on correcting the pH balance issue.
I know this is frustrating, and I apologize for the delay. We tried to open the pool early so we could catch and resolve any issues ahead of time. Unfortunately, the emergency phone repair also took longer than expected due to delays in getting a technician rescheduled, which pushed things back further.
With the rain expected this weekend, the pool may have ended up being closed for much of the weekend anyway. A pool monitor will still be on-site to make sure no one tries to enter or swim before the pool is officially cleared to open.
